Wolfmother's Andrew Stockdale joins for a podcast about a very heated GOP debate, Burger King Hot Dogs, and Kanye's bizarre performance on SNL. Plus, Brad Williams calls in to complain about watching porn in your hotel room, and Bald Bryan reviews 'Deadpool' for this week's Baldywood.

His cheek looks big.
If you never try anything new, you'll miss out on many of life's great disappointments.

I don't really know from Wolfmother but old Mikey-Mike sure sounds like a twat. Good luck with your pretentious Dean Martin cover album; I'm sure it will resurrect your career.

Fuckin' lead singers, man.

Yeah, I like Faith No More, but he goes from explaining that he's doing a record of 60's Italian music with an orchestra... then asks what year it is. I don't really get the Mike Patton thing. Some people are obsessed with everything he does.

I like Faith No More as well, but the only reason most people know who they are is because they sounded enough like the Red Hot Chili Peppers when RHCP was really hot; hard to hear him shitting on another successful band like that.

Like I said, fuckin' lead singers. From weekend bar hacks to legit professionals that giant chip on their shoulders is damn near universal from what I've seen.

The singer seemed a nice dude.

I don't like Kanye and I don't like Wolfmother's music, but found it quite funny that as soon as Carolla and co ripped on Kanye's dirge they then played Wolfmother which sounded just as terrible.

I did laugh at the ''Andrew needs to try and eat this'' and the singer was "eat what?"

Not that I listen to the ACS for news, but I was hoping for Carolla's take on the GOP debate. I don't think we even got a 30 second review, it just goes over Adam's head and on to the next piece. Then I started to think, he hasn't really mentioned politics much of recent, is he still on that Fox News thing he did? Again, not that I'm complaining or desiring to hear Adam rant about guns, the constitution anytime soon, but wonder if he's had a re-set of his political values?

Woman was a fun Rock Band track to play. Couldn't name another Woofmommy track though.

Re: Mike Patton, I don't care for his stuff much except I do enjoy Mr. Bungle.

Wolfmother at least plays real instruments and sings, so that is a talent improvement, but otherwise sounds like 90s rock stuff that all blends in.

Kanye is one of those that I chalk up to "I am very white and have no ability to judge this" because apparently he is considered among the best artists today, and I have zero ability to connect with that.

Hip-hop is an entirely different language and Adam is trying to compare his english to mandarin. The way I try to explain this to white people is Kanye is like a great hip-hop composer….he should be compared to Duke Ellington, not John Coltrane. In the intro to Common’s Be album, he doesn't play the instruments but arranges them in a very creative (and at the time groundbreaking) way. This is talent even though it's not something tangible you can sink your teeth into like a guitar player:

The problem with judging Kanye is he's getting bored with music, and now he's ‘evolving’ like any other artist, so judging what he's doing now is like judging Miles Davis in his bebop days and announcing he sucks. Not taking into consideration the other 6 phases of his career. (some phases better than others) When Kanye produces/raps in its purest form, he's one of the greatest of all time.
Brought to you by the Talented Mr. Ripley......minus the homicidal, homoerotic, sociopathic, recidivism.
