Mantzoukis is the guest on the most recent Dumb People Town. At the top of the show they mention his new movie with Will Ferrel and he says "it's out currently, it's rocking a 16 on Rotten Tomatoes. IT HAS PERFORMED POORLY"

Listened to Jon Ronson's "The Butterfly Effect." I enjoyed it, but after listening to Ronson on Rogan and WTF it had been 90% spoiled. Jon gets excited talking about his projects and blurts out almost everything. He implied this would only be the first season of "Butterfly." I hope it returns. Next time I'll go in unknowing. Still recommend.

BTW, the thread of this audio series is how the porn industry was overturned by a guy who consolidated practically the entire enterprise for himself via pornhub and the broad effects therefrom.

I recommend The Pete and Sebastian Show on Fridays at 5 EST on XM Channel 99.

Also here:

Pete Correale and Sebastian Maniscalco are just two comedians shooting the shit about their lives and families. The kind of storytelling I used to listen to Adam before, back before he got all angry and yelly.

New NPR podcast, “Rough Translation” got sent to me through my Planet Money feed. It was the third ep, and this one's about Russian fake news vs. Ukraine. Pretty good. What you’d expect from NPR. Anyway, it’s now available and Ditter I thought you might want to hear it.

I was cleaning up my bookmarks and noticed this Omega Tau podcast link. I don’t remember how I found it originally but I’ve been listening and I likey. Hosted by Markus Völter, it’s an interview show about science and engineering. Völter is knowledgeable enough to know what questions to ask. His guests are real experts. He’s bilingual (at least) German/English. Some shows are EN, some are DE. You can get an rss feed for either or for all.

I’m currently listening to the ep about AV8 Harriers. His guests are two pilots who have flown them for 44 years. Couple of smart guys, eh. Side note, one of them mentioned that V22 pilots do not qualify for a commercial license. The control system skills are non-transferable.

Good first episode. Interesting to hear the firing stuff as well as some good stuff from Panetta. I like Preet's voice too.

I liked it. I hope he stays with people who no longer have a political axe to grind so they can speak candidly instead of delivering crafted talking points.
